Clinelle first made their appearance in 2004 and since then has expanded their brand throughout drugstores in Malaysia and Hong Kong.

I am very excited to try their products out as I'm really a skincare junkie HAHAHAHA.

I have combination and sensitive skin so I have to be careful when choosing skincare brands but..

I STILL like to try out new brands.

That is sooo cool. When I found out about this, I literally wanted to dig up more history about Clinelle!

CLINELLE Soothing Skin Toner

 

 

Description

An ultra-soothing toner formulated with advanced complex ingredients to help promote micro-circulation, soothe, aid in moisture retention and skin elasticity. Skin is kept soothed, hydrated and calmed while restoring and maintaining skin's natural moisture. A combination of extracts and essential oils help to purify skin and act as a powerful anti-oxidant agent to protect skin from daily pollutants.

 

First Impressions:

When I first sprayed it onto my skin, the thing I noticed was how sticky it felt after spreading it evenly all over my face and

it stings a little.

I don't know if it was due to how dry my face was at that time or something but it did sting just a little.

(I have combination skin. My skin feels very dry after I cleanse it)

The stickiness did fade over time and my skin apparently transformed into something velvety and very soft!

I honestly was a little disappointed when I felt how sticky my face was when I first sprayed it-

but the stickiness DOES FADE.

It does take a little while for it to turn your skin velvety and soft but nevertheless,

It's still working fine for me.

At least my skin feels smooth and very velvety after the waiting period! <3

The texture feels just like water and it's very easy to spread it out.

PLUS IT DOESN'T CONTAIN PARABEN/SD-ALCOHOL.

Ya'll, when I hunt for skincare products-

I actually tend to find those that don't have alcohol or paraben in their ingredients.

Alcohol is actually very bad for your skin so best is stay away from it.

The scent though, it smells like something minty.. or something else.

I can't really describe the scent but it's kind of strong.

If you're a person who is bothered by scented products then this product wouldn't be for you.

Other than that, it's all fine.

CLINELLE Moisture Glow

Description

A lightweight and oil-free moisturizer formulated for normal, oily and sensitive skin. Skin is conditioned while skin's moisture balance is intensively restored and maintained for optimal hydration. Skin's elasticity and texture are maintained while fine lines and wrinkles are minimized.

First Impressions:

The absorption of the moisturizer on to my skin was quick!

Way much quicker than the toner and it leaves the same kind of feeling as the soothing toner as well.

My skin feels soft and velvety and just a tiny little bit of tackiness can be felt.

Very very mild one. I guess that's not a very big deal either!

They recommend using this moisture glow moisturizer after the soothing toner.

It feels lightweight on my face and doesn't clog my pores up as well.

The texture is thick, kind of feels like a loose cream(?)

Is that the right word to describe it?

It's not too thick until it's hard to spread it around either.

In my opinion, the texture is at just right consistency.

Ah the scent though smells exactly like the Soothing Toner.

Minty and fresh scent. I don't really mind either.

I appreciate nicely scented products BUT fragranced products aren't very friendly for your skin either!

CLINELLE UV Defense Ultra Protection Mist Spray

First Impressions:

It feels cooling when I first spray it on my skin.

When I spread it evenly on my skin, I could feel how light it is and I was instantly drawn towards this product!

Oh my gosh, the struggles of putting on sunblock because most of them are so thick and I'm worried my pores will get clogged.

The extra points I give to it is also because it is NON-STICKY.

I actually really like it also because I can reapply the sunblock over my makeup because it is a mist.

I can easily spray it again on my face without potentially ruining my makeup!

Three of them as in the toner, moisturizer and this sunscreen allow my skin to look GLOWY after application.

Again, I have to say I appreciate products that lets my skin to look like a glowy goddess.

Oh! Before I forget, this UV spray also defends you from INDOOR uv rays such as the ones coming from your computers, handphones, etc.

This is a very practical sunscreen mist BUT do remember to remove it properly at the end of the day.

I forgot to remove it with oil cleanser that one time and I had red bumps all over my face.

First Impressions:

I like how there's a stopper at the top which can prevent spillage BUT

it can get messy when you're trying to get the product out.

Is it weird for me to say it feels like thick water?

This is a lotion which is water-based, therefore it does feel like thick water.

The term thick water feels weird.. but that is how I'd describe it.

This lotion leaves a slight sticky residue which I think would be suitable for a night time skincare routine.

It's perfect for locking in the moisture on your skin.

 

This lotion uses the 3X Hydracalm Action which includes:

This product doesn't really have a strong scent and it's like a faint watery scent(?)

I'm the worst at describing scents omg BUT this product's scent won't really bother you!

CLINELLE Pure Swiss Hydracalm Cream

Description

A non-greasy & light weight cream that provides intense hydration & restores moisture in your skin for long lasting hydration. It smoothes away the appearance of dry lines & reduce oil secretion for a supple, matte & refreshed skin.

 

First Impressions:

I am very pleased that it came with a spatula.

I mean, it comes in a tub and if we had to dig out the product with our own fingers, that wouldn't be very hygienic yeah?

Many of you may not know this but this is actually a sleeping mask!

The amount of moisturization in this product is enough to keep my skin look glowy even if I didn't have enough sleep.

I also love the fact that there isn't much sticky residue on my skin AND my skin managed to feel very velvety as well!

 

 

 

 

Can you see how thick the sleeping mask is?

Use this product at the end of your night time skin care routine.

It'll really nourish your skin well.

The scent of this product kind of bothers me though.

It's a little too strong plus it smells like melted wax.

Or should I say herbal scent?

Other than that, the Hydracalm Cream is perfect in many other points.

Overall review

I think Clinelle is worthy on trying out as a beginner's skincare brand as it's affordable and doesn't contain harmful ingredients!

Clinelle doesn't use ingredients that will trigger irritation, early aging nor other skin problems!
