I used to have tiny pores all over my cheeks area and the pores wasn't a really big issue then.

Now it was.

I have no idea why over the years, my pores grew larger and larger and I've been finding ways to combat them.

I don't wear foundation or anything in general, I only wear full makeup when I'm filming or heading out to some important dinner.

So the main reason my pores are so enlarged is that...

I have combination skin! I have cheeks that are so oily that they get so clogged after a long day.

So I tried finding sebum controlling products-

and this is where B.Liv's Off With Those Heads come around!

 

This is one of B.liv's bestseller and I can see why.

I'm quite sure many people out there don't really know how to utilize this product as the description can get a little confusing.

The product's description says that:

This sebum gel extracts white and blackheads with ease - without the need to painfully squeeze.

Even I had difficulties trying to process how am I going to use this product but no worries!

I found the way to use it properly!

 

LET'S START! 

 

What is it?

It is a gel textured product which removes whiteheads and blackheads without extracting them painfully,

meaning that they can disappear by the softening of the blackheads and extract them painlessly!

Off With Those Heads also prevents the formation of blackheads and whiteheads.

How does it work? 

With them stating "consecutive use" you must understand that this product will need to be used long term,

meaning that if you get discouraged and stopped using this product,

you might not see the results.

As you can see from the photo above, the gel is able to hydrate, control oil secretion, promote natural dead skin cells and remove stubborn blackheads-

BY SOFTENING the blackheads to extract them painlessly.

You wouldn't need to pick and pop the blackheads that will leave you scars!

 

The ingredients? 

There are a few major ingredients responsible for all the goodness,

• Tea Tree Oil (acne control + comedone control + soothing)
• Witch Hazel Extract (oil control + comedone control + skin softening)
• Aloe Vera Extract (soothing + hydration)

I personally have a tea tree oil product before and I can really say that tea tree oil really helps with acne and it has proven to have powerful antisepctic, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial properties and is known to help soothe blemished skin.

 

The design? 

The product comes in a pump bottle which can get you the last of the gel effectively,

minimising wastage.

The material of the container is made of plastic so you don't need to worry about dropping the product clumsily.

Texture?

 

Even though the product is in gel-like consistency, 

you get a runny and watery texture once you spread it out.

The application process is very easy since it's rather runny and a little of the product goes a long way.

 

 

How to use the product?

Pump out a pea size of the gel and apply it to your problematic areas such as the oily areas or on your T-Zone.

I use the product after Toner and before Moisturizer.

Give it some time to set first!

 

PEA-SIZED.

Applying it onto my nose area and cheeks area.

The product needs some time to absorb into the skin completely though, so don't use this product when you're rushing out to apply makeup afterwards.

 

CONS?

With all the pros, there must be some cons right?

 

Well this product is sulfate-free but it still contains alcohol.

 

I usually avoid products that contain alcohol and ingredients that can provoke/irritate my skin.

But I'm gonna give this product a pass because it can actually stop acne from forming and tighten up my pores.

Those with sensitive skin, I wouldn't really recommend this for you.

 

 

Overall review?

I feel like this product is *worth the try* but because results may vary for everyone, I only recommend this product to those who have oily skin.

It really did help with tightening my pores and preventing acne.

The results don't show up immediately and need longer time to show so if you're down to investing in a product that gives you better skin in the long ride,

you can try this product.
This product also works well for many other people and there are many benefits from this product but,

one thing to note for is when you stop using the product, the acne may come back again.

So if you don't mind the price and is willing to invest in them, do feel free to do so!
