Hello everyone! 
Welcome to my first ever article here on this blog and I'm super excited to be sharing my experience about being one of the TOP 20 of the PIXSTYLER 2018 program by PixStyleMe MY!
BUT FIRST...
Since this is my first debut here, I should at least introduce myself!
My name is Nicole and I blog and make youtube videos!
My channel is right here and my blog is here!
I create fashion, lifestyle, and makeup related content! 
This was a something that is very new to me and I appreciate the opportunity given to me to be able to become one of the TOP 20s!
You must be wondering...
WHAT IS PIXSTYLER 2018?
It's actually a program where content creators are allowed to express themselves through various challenges and gain experiences to become a better content creator.
Whether you're a blogger, Youtuber or an Instagrammer, as long as you're can write, speak and create, you can join!
Your girl made it to the TOP 20 and PixStyleMe hosted a few events and workshops for us and I was more than thankful to be able to learn so much in these 4 days!
LET THE RAMBLING STOP AND LET'S START! 
*warning* This is gonna be super PHOTO HEAVY.
FIRST DAY: CANMAKE, PHYSICIANS FORMULA, CLINELLE & FITFLOP WORKSHOP 
17th of May 2018. Morning 10am.
Twas a very tiring but fun day!
Our first stop of the day was to a Canmake workshop and the shop is placed at GF-09, Da Men Mall.
It was as if I was absorbed into a PINKY PINKY WORLD because everything was soooo cute and pinkish!
I just really love how cute their products are as their theme is mainly floral patterned or very coral-ish and pastel coloured! You could say I was on cloud-9!! 
On this booth they show off their new products and best seller so you wouldn't be confused on trying which product first!
My own personal favourite was the purple coloured blush!!
It's just so special and that as weird as it is putting on purple shades on your skin, you can actually look so much younger!

This is Nicholle! The marketing manager of Canmake and she was very patient with us and explained to us the history of Canmake.
DID YOU KNOW?
Canmake is a japanese makeup brand that has been around the market for 30 years. In Malaysia for about 10 years and products avaibility has expanded over the years!
You can get their products at drugstores like Watsons and even HERMO!
Yes, you can literally do online shopping with them and how convenient is that? 
Now let's start with the workshop! Today we're learning how to look cute and fresh in the morning then looking hot and fierce at night!
Here is their makeup artist performing with one of the contestants from the TOP 20 as well, Jasmine!
Jasmine has a bright and youthful face to start with so the morning makeup really suits her.
The makeup artist taught us various techniques on looking clear and fresh while maintaining a youthful feel!
TADAAAAA.
Here is the outcome of her look and I'm loving her eyes best! One of the keypoint to this look is the beautiful lashes.
Can you believe she isn't wearing any fake lashes at all?
The secret is in one of their products, which is the Canmake Flaring Curl Mascara Volume Plus!
It really does give so much volume to the eyes!!
Next model is one of our fellow contestants as well, Julia! Her look was the night look and boyyy was I impressed with the final look.
Julia is looking so elegant and gorgeous with the night time makeup look and I looove the eyeshadow on her!
The red lip looks super classy as well on her. 
Ahhh. The affordability of their products is also very friendly to your wallets and purse.
Their products' price ranges from RM10 to around RM70 and here is a lil sneak peek on their new products that are soon to be launching! *wink*
SECOND STOP: Physicians Formula & Clinelle Workshop.
Our next stop of the day was at Watsons Midvalley. Look at all those goodness laid out on top of the table! I was all heart eyes because I am such a makeup and skincare junkie. 
I'm pretty sure if you're a person who loves makeup, you'd have known the Butter Bronzer by Physicians Formula as it is highly raved by makeup gurus!
It also became one of the winners for Women's Health BEAUTY AWARDS 2016.
It smells very heavenly as the bronzer is infused with Murumuru Butter, which kind of reminds me of summer beaches and coconuts' scent.
Applying on your skin will result in a radiant goddess glow for your skin with the incredibly soft and creamy texture of the bronzer.
I looooove the fact that Physicians Formula is CRUELTY FREE.
When I shop for makeup, I try to find those which are Vegan and Cruelty Free.
You can search up the list of vegan and cruelty free brands online!
Here we have Jes as our model for the skincare and makeup routine hosted by both Physicians Formula and Clinelle!
We were given briefings about the products once again and I didn't know Clinelle had so many skincare goodies!
The briefing was very informative as we were given informations on each and the every products patiently.
Here we have a beautiful looking Jes and would you look at how glowy her face looks?
Ahh here comes one of the secrets from Clinelle as well, which is the lightweighted Pure Swiss line's lotion!
This lotion acts like both a toner and moisturizer. It says that the products are dematogicially tested and Clinelle also claimed that they do NOT test on animals but they do not have a cert.
Here are the list of products that were introduced to us and I'll go in detail with both Clinelle's products and Physicians Formula's in a separate blog post.

LAST STOP OF THE DAY: FITFLOP AT ONE UTAMA.
We were all given different dress codes and we had to dress accordingly because our outfits are also part of our challenge.
Mine was CASUAL!
The person who was briefing to us was Nicolas and honestly I was really thankful for him because I learnt so much about Fitflop because his explanations were so in-detail.
Oh before I forget to mention, we were given fitflop balloons! How cute was that?
So basically the challenge was to choose a pair of shoes that were suitable with your outfit and speak about the shoes and present them.
I did learn to speak spontaneously without feeling nervous and to always be clear and confident about what you're speaking about.
This was what I wore as casual that day!
I was partnered up with Chris and he was such a nice person to work with.
Oh and FITFLOP's shoes are very very comfy!
The shoes I picked were these basic white sneakers which are very versatile in everyday wear.
White shoes can be as formal as you want them to be, or as casual as you want them to be.
The shoes that I picked has an Anatomicush technology and boyy I felt like I was walking on fluffy marshmallows.
The shoes are designed for cushioning and underfoot comfort.
FITFLOP has this Superwomen manisfesto that holds a collection purposely designed for busy and capable women to create "superwomen" energy comfy flat shoes!
SECOND DAY: VIDEO EDITING AND FILMING WORKSHOP
19th of May 2018. Morning 10am.
Today was the day I learnt a lot more skills and techniques I need to film and produce better quality videos.
All thanks to Vivian and Jiayi for sharing with us everything we need to become a better content creator.
Here is a video I did after the workshop and I was glad and happy with the outcome.

THIRD DAY: VIDEO EDITING AND FILMING WORKSHOP
20th of May 2018. Morning 11am.
On this day I learnt so much more about the hardships and struggles of being a Youtuber.
I also learnt how to cope with it and what I should do beforehand when trying to create a video.
Such things like making sure you have a back-up video in case something goes wrong as well as how
subtitles and music choice can affect the overall of the video is very important.
On this day I was really happy to be gaining so much knowledges from this Youtuber from Malaysia!
Usually, you watch all those experiences video by overseas' youtubers but you don't really hear it from Malaysian Youtubers before
so this is really an eye opener for me. I'm so glad I attended the workshop and came back with a mind full of knowledge.
I also learnt that even with just taking videos of you pets can gain such a huge audience.
I learnt that as long as you're passionate about what you're doing, you'll definitely attract viewers.
I learnt to be real and not to give up when it gets rough in the process of being a youtuber.

FOURTH DAY: ACER LAPTOP FILMING AND HERSCHEL WORKSHOP
21st of May 2018. Morning 10am.
I found my dream laptop guys. I seriously found it.
I feel like as if I were to own this laptop, I'd actually cry. 
It'd come in so so handy with my college work.
Today at college I was bringing this super old and ancient heavy laptop around and it started to hurt my shoulders.
Then all I could think about was this Acer Swift 5 laptop. How awesome would it be to actually own one and not cry about a lagging laptop.Don't worry guys... I'll make a separate blogpost about this Acer Swift 5 because it is just so awesome.
We spent the morning filming this Acer laptop as our challenge!

Here is the outcome!! I could have done better, but I tried :)
LAST STOP FOR THE ENTIRE WORKSHOP: HERSCHEL BACKPACKS.
Venue: Bratpack, Midvalley.
This was the bag that caught my eye at first glance! You could say it was love at first sight to be honest.
I love the baby blue colour and the tropical vibes coming from the design!
I didn't notice the model was also modeling with this bag that I really liked until Nicolas came and told me about it!
I was paired up with this bag and boyy was I happy as well to be paired with this bag cause it really screams summer beaches and salty beach wind.
The reason why you see so much of this tropical pattern all around Herschel's bags are because they collaborated with DISAYA, a luxury designer brand from Thailand.
Herschel's bags are very durable as well as convenient due to the little compartments they have everywhere in their bag, it's like they're hiding and waiting for you to find out about them.
This Herschel workshop was almost the same as the Fitflop one, where we have to share the products given to us to our audience, aka the contestants and judges on the spot that day.
Ahh.. I also learnt to not do something in such a way I'm really.. not exactly familiar with.
I wanted to try something new that day, which wasn't bad.
But I felt like as if I were to be myself and talk the way I usually would, I could have done better.
But it's alright! I believe both my partner and I had done our bests. I'm very satisfied.
This is my sweet and stunning partner Yiqian! I am very very grateful to ber partners with her because she is so sweet and so helpful as well.
Even if we didn't win I just want you to know I appreciate your efforts! We tried our best!
And that concludes the four days of my workshops. Been a long ride, both my workshops as well as this blogpost. HAHAHAHA.
I wanna thank PixStyleMe once again for giving me this opportunity.
I met a lot new kind friends and also gained a lot of knowledge from the workshops.
Whether or not we all may meet again, I'm glad we are friends.
I wasn't able to take photos with the other contestants but I sure liked all of you.
